MLB 10: The Show Videos

As I continue to play the new baseball titles and collect general and online impressions I’ve also recorded some videos from MLB 10: The Show that I figured would be worth posting up, especially given that the demo did not even come out this week. In this group of videos there are two focusing on gameplay, one with an inning of Rangers @ Mariners and the other a stretch of action with the Reds @ Marlins. Is Sony going to provide roster updates for the psp version? If not I wasted 40 bucks!! The PS3 version is great tho!

RTTS still has that issue where you dominate AA, (get traded for no effing reason… to the astros), go to the all star game… rock it, and never get promoted. (i'm currently in july i think, and still no AAA… like hell am i re-signing with that team lol…). hopefully spring training on whatever team i pick will promote me past AAA…

Loving the actual gameplay as always. Just playing a short season for now. Was playing around with franchise a little to see if some of the issues I've been hearing about came up. So I simmed and made it all the way to August 12th and then the game wouldn't let me get past that date no matter what I did!

Sounds like the same issue we had with RTTS last season when it wouldn't let you get past a certain date for some reason.

On another note, I noticed a lot of people complaining about teams putting star players on waivers. Well, from what I saw up until the point where it wouldn't let me sim anymore, the waivers the players were being put on were “trade waivers” which is a whole different issue. This just allows for trading after the deadline, and the team can pull the players back off waivers if the desired trade with another waived player doesn't happen. So that's no really the issue people think it is. Did see a couple of wonky trades, but nothing you don't see in real life from time to time anyway.

Going to keep enjoying season mode, and I really hope they address some issue in another patch. hopefully someone doesn't play out all their games and get to August 12th or whenever in franchise and not get to play beyond that. That would just suck. I was mad enough and I was just simming. I really wish they'd catch these issue before release. Getting old to have similar issue two years in a row.

Kind of scared to get engrossed in a RTTS players and then see the same issue as last year where you couldn't get past a date.

Anyway. Hope everyone is having fun with the game. Despite some glitches with some of the feature outside of the actual game, this game rocks.

does anyone know why my RTTS pitcher is only topping at 90 despite having 97 velocity, 80 control and 50 movement for my attributes?

Humorously enough… i found myself traded to boston, then moved up to AAA and then the majors due to some very timely injuries of those ahead of me. So actually for the first time, I'm in the majors my first year as a position player (it happened once as a pitcher before).

Best sports game out. Of course your gona here BS considering Micro has about 40,000 plus pretend PS3 owners posting BS everyday for ho money. Or a few becuase they have no life so thats what they do, but yea best sports game ever.
