The first trailer featuring actual game footage has been released for EA Sports MMA. I’ve also added 16 screenshots into the gallery which show off some of the fighters, arenas, and entrances. There is still no release date for the game but it is expected out in the October-December quarter and with the trailer stating “late 2010″ it most likely will fall in November. Continue on to watch the video and leave your thoughts in the comments!

looks great. wish it was coming out sooner but i guess they wanted 6 months between them and ufc.

  • trosty2

very nice trailer, game looks more fluid then UFC but really need to see it in actual gameplay and not replays.

  • Pastasucksatlife

Oh look, a patch for The Show is coming out tomorrow.

Worked on AFTER the game came out.

Pasta, so what were you saying about that????

Once again, Pasta reports incorrect statements. FAIL.

    Yoooo…..Gotta Get This….so realistic

at 0:45 what kind of knockout was that? lol it looked retarded

  • gomagic

looking good. still no release date so it should look better as we go along.

  • LOL

Here you guys go again!!!! Falling for EASPORTS HYPE!!! Remember they did this with madden06 and we were so dissapointed!!!! When this game comes out its gonna be a HUGE BUST!!!! Like kwame brown lol

It looks like it's going be a true competitor for Undisputed. That's only going to make both better.

Trailer looks pretty good, but how fun will it be online when the EA servers make you disconnect every other match and ruin records?

The circumstances are drastically different though. EA MMA absolutely MUST be really good or else people won't buy it.

My understanding is online is going to be a big focus of the game, hopefully that includes stability for sure, which is something UFC struggled with at times last year.

  • GoMadden

Some of the animations look pretty fluid, some need more work. Overall I'm pretty excited to see a competitor for UFC undisputed. This will be the first time a truly popular sports game will have legitimate competition since the Madden/2k days (I don't count MLB/NBA games as truly popular).

I personally think MMA games can, and will be bigger than juggernauts like Madden with enough time, money and polish. It's a great sport, it translates to a great game and competition in the development arena is only going to make it more popular

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA I can't believe you guys are falling for this.

This game is going to suck major homo balls. EA proves that they are still the champions of making good commericals and shitty games.

  • good for a laugh

And I LOVE how they have “Actual Gameplay Footage” across the bottom for the whole thing like we're supposed to be in awe or something.

    omg this is hilarious.

  • FResh2Death

Looks very impressive, should be a very fun game!!

I love all these morons trying to bash EA just because they can't stand EA selling games. This game will be exactly what Skate is for EA, another very impressive title to the EA Sports line up.

Graphics look good. I won't buy into the hype until i actually play the thing. I think only the anti-UFC or EA Sports fans are saying this game is going to be great without having played it. It could suck for all we know.

  • VoiceofReason

I'll stay optimistic but I've yet to own an EA game that doesn't have connection issues…would be nice to see the sports games go the route of FPS shooters in terms of online stability.

@:45 that KO was ugly and @ 1:00 seems like this game will suffer from what UFC had last year, temporary pauses in action. the game looks good but my money is going to UFC until further notice

  • GeorgeC0stanza

    i'll be downloading both

EA is playing the underdog role here though. When EA is pushed into a corner and forced to create greatness they usually deliver. We've all seen at one time or another what EA is capable of when they bring out the big guns. Me personally, my gripe with EA has never been inadequacy, but rather, their dedication in relation to their motives.

  • neil

i wasn't THAT impressed with the commericial as some of these other people. I really thought it looked very similar to UFC 2009, there was nothing outstanding or different that really caught my eye.

  • ASH-HOL

looks OK but I want to see a fight before make a final call, unlike you fools who have already decided it's a FAIL !!

  • mfpedro

    Beware of the UFC/Zuffa shills.

  • jmbrew420

This game wont sell without ufc fighters, thats a guarantee

  • jmbrew420

An mma without ufc fighters is like a football game without the real players….its the mma “backbreaker”

  • vikngs4lifee

Looking forward to it, cool to see you can choose to be in a ring rather than a cage.
