The NCAA Football 11 demo is now available to download on the 360 and should be arriving sometime today on the PS3. The demo includes four matchups with Ohio State @ Miami, Florida @ Florida State, Clemson @ Missouri, and Oklahoma @ Texas with two minute quarters. Playing each matchup unlocks the Pro Combat uniforms for use in the full game. Sharing the demo will also unlock three more team’s uniforms.

Given that I’m in LA for E3 I’m counting on everyone out there to post impressions in the comments! I’ll read through them all so as to better evaluate the full game on hand once E3 opens up tomorrow.

Since its a demo, it doesn't hold in the memory of plays from previous drives. It always choose the last play of the game.

NCAA sure 1 up'd Madden this year.

Also, took them awhile to add the ball spiraling to replays. lol

over all huge improvement i love it demo is buggy but i mean i know the real game wont be i ran with pryor when i was ohio state and he turned around back wards for some reason and also i did a play action and my qb just kept running backwards lol but all in all i know the bugs will be fixed and this year ncaa is pretty amazing

So i have another question, after playing the demo i thought of it. Pasta will the teams that do helmet stickers actually have them added when something is done to earn them or will it be gradual through the season, or worse yet the same amount on every helmet throughout the season. I know in the earlier versions it would show you how many stickers each player had when looking through your stats and the stickers on the helmets would gradually grow by the people that earned them

I've seen some fans upset, and at the end of games fans leaving if you're up big

I'm loving the demo. It is a step up from 2010, and I adored 2010. But I do have two complaints:
    1. The play-call menu was weird until I found the advanced portion
    2. During a cut scene in the Texas v. Oklahoma game, Texas' mascot looked very cartoonish, and the shadow was very pixaly.
but other than that it is a great demo and will be abused for a month

They did last year, I rememeberpryor from OSU got hurt and his back up came in and got a few stickers, and when I was FSU i got stickers for tds

  • skihawks

I have played demos for both systems and the PS3 demo is laggy as hell….Still sweet….

To repeat the other responder, this has been in the game the past few seasons. The only thing EA didn't include was the number of stickers earned by each player as they did in NCAA 06 and earlier.

The older versions capped out at 48 and placed the pride stickers on the helmet in even rows, one thing that was fixed last year.

I agree that this is a cool little detail that adds to the immersion. I wish you could set the parameters on how the stickers are earned since each school does it differently.

I have to give it to EA this is the best NCAA football game since the PS2 days the college atmosphere is back the team entrance get you hyped makes you feel like your at the stadium watching the game the crowd is loud man I have to give it to the NCAA team if madden can be this good this year then EA is coming back to all it's football glory.

  • trackstar121388

I agree that it would be cool to set the parameters on how they are earned

enjoyed the demo. seemed a lot better than last year. graphics looked good BUT i was disappointed that there looks to be no field degredation or uniforms getting dirty as the game progresses, particularly in the rainy clemson/mizz game.

  • PeteyPanner

Overall the game is great but one thing that has to be fixed immediately is the when running the Zone Read out of the Shotgun when you keep it with the QB there is a pause or some sort of delay before the QB can sprint once he has kept the ball on the read. This has to be fixed the Qb should be able to run as soon as he pulls the ball away from the tailback.

can someone help? do yohave to have xbl gold to download the demo?

  • JBreeze

I know im extremely late to this but i just downloaded the game and…..smh!!!! This to me could be in early contention for sports game of the year…wow…just wow. Everything about this game is amazing…and this is only the demo!!! The pre-game band is awesome, the pre-game huddle is awesome, the fans in the stand finally look realistic in a sports game! (even if the realism only shows in the beginning and in cutscenes). I cant stop ravin about this game….Like “skihawks” said, this game is getting ABUSED until july 13th. Great Job EA, great job.

P.S. Madden take notes on how a real football game is supposed to be like!!!!!!

Go to Play station Store… yeah

should i searh by typing it down… cause there's no button who says “all ps3 demos”… there's one “PS3 Games” but in there you can't press the letter N??

Does anyone else have a problem with the fans after you score a touchdown? They look like the fans all the way back from the early 90's in football games. They are just blobs in a human shape and a white outline.
