More Madden 11 Videos and Screenshots

While my full impressions of the game went up yesterday (with online impressions to come later this week) I thought I’d get up another set of videos. There are three of them, two of which feature the Seahawks @ Giants and the other is the Chargers @ Chiefs in the rain. In addition I have added 27 screenshots to the gallery many of which came from requests in previous postings or from Twitter/Facebook. I dont know if maybe it was programmed in but Eli was tough on that final drive. Even was cited how he has a bunch of 4th quarter comebacks.

i played the demo in all madden mode and the cpu almost always broke the first tackle, the same thing happens in the final game?

Extremely disappointed with the fact that they completely abandoned Franchise mode along with halftime and post game shows. To me, Franchise was always the main reason for buying the game.

Should have played man on that 4th down. Or at least blitzed with the zone. This year the qb will find holes in the zone, and the wrs make the cuts/adjustments to catch it(at least some of the time).

I hear people saying they fixed blocking but there are several instances where blockers on kickoffs and handoffs just stand there and don't do anything. The commentary is odd too. In the first video Gus mentions the player will have to be carted off within seconds of the injury..lol..then you see the player walking off holding his arm.

The game seems so sloppy.

Horrible… Im just disgusted on how EA Sports can put the same f**king game out there year after year… This game will never change for the better till that NFL License opens up again… Mark my words… Competition brings out the best in all of us no matter what the situation is… Having no comp. around when dropping a game knowing that your guaranteed fat pockets, who would want to do real work and really cater to their fans… Im done with EA, I hope a lot of ppl just bite the bullet and dont buy this garbage once again… Maybe thatll be the only way these lazy sc+mbags feel any change… my 2 cents on such a ridiculous reoccuring subject… The Infamous Madden Series… or should I say same f*cking game year after year with a new annual title…

Another thing… 2 huge injuries within the first 2 minutes of the game… FTW!! NCAA 11 has that issue also… I really cant stand every other series my starting HB gets hurt then comes back then gets hurt again… Realllllly realistic EA… great job!! Well atleast I can keep my food down playing that game, its pretty decent compared to this bulls**t!

I just bought the game and I have to say I’m SO disappointed. I’m sure Ian Cumming and and the gang are good people, but they need to be relived of their influence on this game. I mean really … the game is a monstrosity. It plays so slow and it’s just all around a horrid iteration of the game. I want my money back – the only reason I bought it was for nostalgic reasons.

No disrespect but I'm not impressed by the demo, nor any of the gameplay footage. I”m not saying this game sucks, but it gets easier and easier every year to not buy Madden.

playaction plays: madden 11=madden 09, no time to do anything.
defense: in all madden mode, almost alway miss/broken first tackler by the cpu……..pasta, is there any posibilty that they can fix/patch to correct this issues….

once you actually play the full game it is quite enjoyable. i was very surprised by it. you just have to get used to the new locomotion and stuff

You said it, this year’s Madden game is suprisingly entertaining and enjoyable. I’ve been playing madden for years and this version almost remind me of Madden 95 which brought the game to life. I must give EA their props for gameplay(only). They still could’ve added more features to franchise and other game modes. Overall gameplay IMO is pretty good.

Pasta, I think I read in your other review you weren’t happy with kickoff returns. My first return with Ginn of 49ers, on All-Madden, I took it to the house!! Second one, I got to the 30ish…I don’t think theres any problems there.

Whenever I am passing from the shotgun formation there is at least one second after I have caught the ball from the center where I cannot do anything; throw, pump fake, scramble, etc. Is there any way to fix this or is this just part of the game? If it is part of the game than it is stupid beyond belief. The animation looks like part of the quarterback's dropback, but if the defense blitzes than you are screwed! To not be able to scramble for at least a full second after the snap is a joke. I am not talking about scrambling past the line of scrimage either, just trying buy some time. Please, if anyone knows how to fix this, or even if it can be fixed, respond. I could use anyone's help.

i feel like they spit in the fans of die hard fans.. in order to increase sales… by getting people who dont even play the game.. a reason to try it… NORMALLY.. someone who doesnt play madden either doesnt plays video games.. or is not a big football fan.. so what are they attempting to gain by that group of non interested gamers?? gameflow sucks.. the kicking meter was never hard at all.. dont get me started on the “strategy pad”.. everything.. they attempted to put into the game was a complete failure..
