EA Sports MMA Light Heavyweight Roster

The entire finalized roster of light heavyweights that will be featured in EA Sports MMA has now been revealed. The weight class is headlined by cover athlete Randy Couture and current Strikeforce LHW champion Muhammed Lawal. Also included (as pictured above) are Ken Shamrock, Jason Miller, Bas Rutten, Renato Sobral, Gegard Mousasi, Frank Shamrock, Vladimir Matyushenko, Scott Smith, Roger Gracie, Melvin Manhoef, Murilo Rua, Matt Lindland, Kevin Randleman, Dan Henderson, and Alistair Overeem. Couture, Lawal, Ken Shamrock, Randleman, and Overeem are also included on the heavyweight roster.

So far this game Looks like its going to be a lot better than Undisputed.
Just looking at the Game play.

Pretty funny that they have to include an awful lot of natural middleweights instead of getting more true light heavyweights, but I’m honestly not complaining, since I love most of these guys.

Yeah…….. don’t really know why you think that is funny.

With Undisputed being in the tank, I can’t see why anyone would waste another 60$ on another MMA title, especially a first time effort. MMA like boxing are fringe sports and with NBA and Hockey and Soccer titles just around the corner I don’t see this title being that huge a success.

Damn, i was hoping for a surprise addition like Kiyoshi Tamura, Marvin Eastman, or Jeremy Horn. But i’m cool with the roster as it is. I wonder if they’ll show the weight difference for Overeem, as he was very skinny at 205.

Im really excited for this game but I could honestly not care less about the rosters. It makes no difference who they include in the game since a week after the release every fighter imaginable will be uploaded onto Fighter Share
