NBA 2K12 Demo Coming Next Week

Despite the ongoing lockout 2K Sports hasn’t really ramped up their marketing efforts – if anything its been more subdued than last year while certain new features and entire modes of NBA 2K12 still remain under wraps. 2K has always been deliberate in their distribution of information on upcoming titles but in this case not having a competitor seems to have led to them holding things even closer to their chest and for longer. A big step forward however as time ticks down will come with the release of the demo.

The demo for NBA 2K11 was pushed out three weeks prior to release of the game. For NBA 2K12 it will end up being two weeks early as it is scheduled to hit the Xbox 360 and PS3 on Tuesday September 20th. No official announcement on teams or details but the typical demo match-up would involve an NBA Finals rematch meaning Heat at Mavericks.
