As Netflix prepares to lose the biggest contributor to their streaming service early next year in Starz they have been actively working to add new content. The latest deal involves TV network AMC – who’s Mad Men and Breaking Bad has already been made available on Netflix – but will be providing even more going forward.

The big score comes with The Walking Dead – the hugely popular zombie show adapted from the comics. Season one of The Walking Dead is available today on Netflix and future seasons will be added shortly before the next season is slated to premiere. The multi-year agreement with AMC will bring other shows and movies from the channel and its owned networks including IFC, Sundance Channel, and WE TV.
