The nominations for this years Oscars were announced this morning! The new process involved with the Best Picture category means as few as 5 and as many as 10 nominees can be up for the final vote. In this case it was 9 that made the cut and no one expected it to be that many.

The honor of having the most nominations went to Hugo with 11 and The Artist followed close behind with 10. Billy Crystal hosts the 84th annual Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday February 26th.
