“LINsanity” has taken over as one of the best sports stories in recent memory continues to roll. In the last 6 games (5 of which he’s started) Jeremy Lin is averaging 26.8 PPG, 8.5 APG, 3.8 RPG and last night even hit the game-winning shot. The Knicks, playing without Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony for most of it, are undefeated in the 6 games.

Given the fan and media attention on the story the first opportunity to reflect the remarkable stretch made for quite possibly the most highly anticipated NBA 2K mid-season roster update ever. That new update for NBA 2K12 arrived this morning and adjusted Lin up to 69 from his original 56 rating. Though that is a significant boost it’s well below what most fans expected he would be moved up to.
