EA Sports has posted their schedule for feature reveals relating to Madden NFL 13. Though the descriptions are vague there is quite a bit to glean from them. We do already know that a new announce team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are being introduced. A focus that lays heavily on defense has also been discussed.

The first big news will come this Wednesday which is also when the winner of the cover tournament will be announced – presentation and gameplay details are expected. “Connected Careers” and the announcement of a “monumental change to gameplay” will come out of the EA press conference leading into E3. Later in the summer will bring info on “Madden Social” which is likely related to the “online universes” the company has discussed for all their brands.

It’s worth noting that no specific mention of improvements to Online Franchise (which was pretty much guaranteed to be coming for M13) or Kinect for Xbox 360 implementation (which we know for sure is coming) are listed but they could find their way into other categories or their own info releases down the line.

Continue on to check out the full schedule with brief descriptions and leave any thoughts on the upcoming news in the comments!
