Joseph Gordon-Levitt Rumored to Play Batman in Justice League Movie

*The Dark Knight Rises Spoilers ahead* Based on a report from HitFix the upcoming Justice League movie will possibly feature Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Batman. Of course, at the end of The Dark Knight Rises, his character of Blake was revealed to actually be Robin and strongly hinted at him taking over as Batman with Bruce Wayne moving on.
Rather than completely reboot Batman following the completion of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy it could be that Warner Bros. will go this route and actually keep some semblance of continuity. The rumors even state that he could appear in next year’s Man of Steel to begin that thread.
Where Marvel built up to The Avengers through the individual properties WB has plans to essentially approach it the opposite way. Justice League is expected to release in 2015 and then branch off with the characters carrying their own franchises.
