The roster update following week 15 of the NFL season is expected to arrive by Saturday morning. Jameel McClain, Michael Bush, and Malcolm Floyd are among the players who hit the IR this week while the Jets have benched Mark Sanchez in favor of Greg McElroy.

It appeared possible as the season progressed and now J.J. Watt has reached pinnacle of being rated 99. Making big moves in this next update are Colin Kaepernick (+3 to 83), Russell Wilson (+2 to 87), Matt Ryan (+1 to 94), Dennis Pitta (+3 to 82), Manny Lawson (+2 to 84), Cam Newton (+1 to 91), Brandon Carr (+1 to 90), Aaron Rodgers (+1 to 97), James Jones (+1 to 84), Drew Brees (+1 to 95), and Alfred Morris (+1 to 85). Those that have suffered from poor performances include Joe Flacco (-1 to 87), Jay Cutler (-1 to 86), Stevan Ridley (-2 to 82), Eli Manning (-2 to 94), Mark Sanchez (-1 to 74), Tim Tebow (-1 to 73), and Philip Rivers (-1 to 85).

Teams benefiting the most in net players gaining in ratings over losing in ratings are the Raiders (+13), Saints (+12), Panthers (+10), and Broncos (+9). Taking the biggest hits are the Chiefs (-11), Chargers (-8), and Buccaneers (-7). Overall the update is more top heavy than recent ones with a net pickup of +57 across the league. • NyCrAzY

Can’t wait to see Greg McElroy shine on the NY Jets! I think he’s the real deal.
    Very underrated from Alabama.

    • Mason Drews

Reminds me a lot of Aikman as the kid is just a winner.

      • AmazinsCowboys

Please don’t compare Greg McElroy to Troy Aikman

  • Mason Drews

Romo’s been balling out in the clutch, and sticking it to all these haters!

Tony Romo has FIVE 4th quarter comebacks and 5 game winning drives this season (most in the NFL)!!! But wait I thought Eli was so clutch?

    Romo’s 4th Quarter Stats 2012

    67% Completion/in 4th Qtr
    107 Yards Average/in 4th Qtr
    9 TDs / 3 INTs in 4th Qtr

Comparison of Game Winning Drives with Cowboys (Great) QBs

Staubach had 23 in 114 Games
Aikman had 21 in 165 Games
Romo has 19 in 91 Games (5 – Game Winning Drives in 2012)

Comparison of 4th Quarter Comebacks with Cowboys (Great) QBs

Staubach had 15 in 114 Games
Aikman had 16 in 165 Games
    Romo has 18 in 91 Games (5 – 4th Quarter Comebacks in 2012)

    QB rating of 101.4 in 4th Quarter – 2012

    • Dallas Star

Romo haven’t scored the Touchdown or threw for them

      • Jom

Over the last 6 games he leads almost all qbs in every major statistic. Including completion percentage, qbr and TD-int ratio. How the hell is Eli still a 94. And the fact that he was 96 before this week is a joke

        • Big Black Cock

Probably because in the past 5 years he has won 2 superbowls. Eli is way better than Romo. Deal with it.

        • Dallas Star

That doesn’t mean he deserves a clutch trait read the original statement ole boy asked for clutch that trait normally goes to someone that is clutch in the win not just getting in position the kicker is making the kick in the clutch the receiver is catching the ball in the clutch and Carr was the one picked off the ball and returned it to the 1 yard line and previous game vs Pitt The Bengals OC was the dummy who chose to call pass plays with 6 minutes left in the game to even give Dallas another possession where was Romo all game and in the Pitt. game Pitt OC did the same dumb thing a lot of teams has done in the process of losing games passing too much and if Pitt attempted to run the ball in OT it may have been a different story

    • I_speak_real

Romo garbageness was the reason they had to have a comback anyway

  • Chiryder

Alshon Jeffery dropped a point? Is there a rating for Offensive Pass Interference calls, now? Must be if Sam Shields went up a point. He was covering him all day and got most of them called on him including on that should have been Defensive.

    • Guest

You clearly must not have been watching closely. I recall one point specifically where Shields was called for defensive pass interference when it was Jeffery that threw him to the ground by the face mask. Jeffery couldn’t get open without pushing off.

      • Chiryder

Check it again. Shields was never called for Defense Pass Interference. He had on penalty for Illegal Contact. Which was the correct call. He SHOULD have been called for defensive PI on that last play when he grabbed his jersey to stop him from making a play. None of this warrants a drop in points for Jeffrey and increase for Shields.

        • thebiggesthater

Lol Yah its pretty hard not to have illegal contact when the receiver grabs your face mask and pulls you into yourself like Jeffery did to shields. Shields deserved the increase for being in perfect position on all the plays that forced Jeffrey to need to push off to make the plays.

  • joe

Not sure what Ahmad Brooks did to deserve a Decrease, but Ray McDonald shoulnd’t have been increased either. Oh well. Can’t complain. Justin Smith didn’t deserve a decrease either

How did Sanchez only go down one point? 74 is too high for him right now.

  • Hoopty

Why the hell did Dunta and Jizz go down? Mark Sanchez is a better decision maker than this moron, Donny Moron

  • Travis

Why can’t they fix JJ Watt, he looks like he weighs 400lbs! Same goes for Quinton Coples. In no way is it even close to their actual body types. It bothers me so damn much!

    • I_speak_real

Yea i know what your sayin.. watt does look like he eats cupcakes for breakfast

  • Riley

I can’t really use it until they release an update for online roster.

    • I_speak_real

Yhis is for the online roster

      • turd burglar

only play now rosters. if you want to do a draft, or start a league, you’re stuck with week 4 rosters

  • Idolized1

So let me get this straight – Adrian Peterson is closing in on the single season rushing record and just ran for another 200 yard game (which he all attributes to the play of his fullback) and EA is dropping Jerome Felton’s rating?

    Makes sense to me!

    • chicagobeardefense

Gameplay wise this madden isnt too bad. But this is the worst madden in terms of franchise mode. MoJoDrew is covering kickoffs in it. The computer depth chart is so awful. Sometimes the OTs are listed as starter on both sides. Backups on defense start elsewhere, ruining rotations… Last years also sucked. this is the only reason most people by the game. Online play is laggy. The ratings are a joke. The left DE gets a ton of sacks cus of design issues.
No joke, a friend offered me 40 bucks for the game a few days ago and I replied I’ll give it to you for 30. Thats how bad the game is. The icing on the cake is Jay Cutler is rated worse than Joe Flacco who is barely a step up from Sanchez. Its a joke that newton, wilson, stafford, luck, rg3 are all within equal or better than cutler but FLACCO?? comeon.

They purposely make franchise mode bad because they want you to buy new games.

  • Hawks

Bout time they gave Russell Wilson his due and made him a higher overall than overrated Luck.

    • 49ersfan1

overrated luck? remove luck and they only have 2 wins.

  • http://www.facebook.com/cush2push Geoff Wightman

So you have 5 turnovers 4 ints and a fumble lose your job to yourb3rd string QB and still only lose 1 point yeah OK

  • CJ

How did SteveSmith drop a point again when he hasnt even played at all for the Rams since earlier this season..wtf Donny and why Brian Quick hasnt been getting his increases? EA JUST DROP DONNY MOORE THIS SHIT IS SO RETARDED. And whats up with Robert Quinn increase in his SPEED

  • Steven Smith

How does anyone on a defense that forces 5 turnovers and hold a team under 250 total yards gets decreased?

  • 49ersfan1

why did the raiders go up? they played the chiefs. and they couldnt even score a TD!

    • I_speak_real

      We shut out the cheifs

      • 49ersfan1

who? oh right the chiefs. congrats buddy. u guys made 5 raiders (i mean, field goals). u couldnt get a single TD on the chiefs. u could only get 5 raiders (field goals) on the chiefs.

        • I_speak_real

Ok .. i see your a niners fan..first off i hate frisco its gay..i never liked yall even when you guys were trash..and I see u guys are getting bandwagged now..u may even be a bandwagor also..if your not from bay area, your not a real fan.. Im from da bay and im raiders fan..been that way since I was born..and yes the niners are good right now but before last season..we were better than yall..but now the only team I play online is the niners..im sick of all of yall bandwagoners

          • 49ersfan1

i was born in SF. and i live in the bay area. not a bandwagon, when i was born, they put on a SF 49 hat on my head and been a real fan since the terrell owens days. i can tell there are tons of bandwagons. for example, my friend used to be an eagles fan until the 49ers made the playoffs, he switched teams. before harbaugh came, the niners were better than the raiders. when we were 7-9, 8-8, u guys were 6-10.

          • I_speak_real

Last decade of 2000-2010 we had 1 super bowl appearance..niners 0.. you guys were trash the whole decade..the only reason our franchise is down now is because jemarcus russel set us back.. but u guys r better now.. and the r8ders nation will stay strong….#best team in cali..#go lakers..#go Cal #go angels #go la kings.. all my teams bossed up even though everyone hopped off lakers and we..and therent to heat im still here cuz this my home

          • Speakitloudly

You my friend….I can tell you aren’t a fan of stats….and apparently you are more ignorant than anyone here so let me make this clear…first off….I will give you that the raiders have had one appearance but then again even with that appearance….they still aren’t a high quality team and certainly weren’t better than the 49ers for at least….11 years now, I have the official NFL history book with me…I would know and second you saying a person can’t be a hardcore fan of another state’s team…I am a huge hardcore fan of the packers ever since I was little and I’m not born in Wisconsin and I live in Tennessee and I’ve also like the titans for a while since I was little but at least I can admit that they have faults and we need our blocking to increase and that jake locker and CJ would be a great pair if only we had great blocking but you saying I cant like teams just because I’ve never been there or because I wasn’t born there is basically trying to take away my rights of being me….everyone is different whether you like it or not and grow up realize also that a lot of things you may like….aren’t from your state or maybe not even from the country and notice to win an argument I don’t have to call someone a pussy….because it leads to nowhere and third and finally stop acting like you’re gong to beat someone up and all and yes I am black and yea I’m a hardcore packers fan and yea I don’t care what you say and no one else should either…I agree that you should rep where you’re from but if a person doesn’t want to and likes other teams then let them be and oh the definition of bandwagoning is to engage or like something because everyone else likes it so him liking the dolphins too isn’t bandwagoning….not even close to it and I really don’t care what your comment is because you can’t stop me.

          • I_speak_real

Stop u doin wat.. honestly i dnt care wat u guys think..rootin for another states team isfake..ok im from america..is it right if i root for spains soccer team..no thats blasfamous.. stfu us r8ders and the niners were both scrubs last decade ..i was just sayin we had a sb appearance th.. ru are a bandwagoner ..your fake u PUSSY..rokt for your home..wisconsin has no relation with u so y rep dem … u are a titans fan thats all..i hate wen people claim there home team and tjey trash so they decide they want to claim another great tea from somewhere else.. i also hate wen people hav multiple teams period..im from the bay area.. i reserve the right tk clain niners and or r8ders but im a true 100 % fan.. so what my raiders not that good roght now but our time gone come just wait..and the only reason we down now is because jemarcus russel set us back

          • Kaleb m

Okay, that is bullshit, even if he wasnt from the bay area, that doesnt mean he isnt a real fan, you dont have to be from the area to be a fan. Now if he just liked them because they are good now, then he isnt a real fan, but if he has liked him for years befroe they were good, nd stuck with them through the tough years than he is certainly a real fan. Ive never even been to Indiana but i am a Notre Dame fan and have been for years, and now that they are good people are calling me a bandwagon, which im not because ive stuck with them forever, even whe they sucked. I also like the Dolphins and ive only been to Forida once and it was just last year, and lastly i am a Cubs fan and you cannot say i am a bandwagon if i like thos teams, but ive only been to Chicago once and it was jsust for 1 night.

          • I_speak_real

U my friend are a bandwagoner.. it doesnt matter if they are a winning team or not..how and they hell can u rep another state’s team.. youu dumb for rooting for another city. So u just woke up and said im gonna be a fan of teams in other states.. no it doesnt work that way.. u suppose to represent were u from.. u rep other states ..ure not a real fan u pussy

          • I_speak_real

No its not bull.and you are puzsy for reppin other state’s teams.. your suppose to represent were u from ..your not a real fan and u know it.. so u just woke up and said im gonna be a fan of teams in other states ..no it doesnt work that way ..it doesnt matter if they are a winning team or not…if im born in that certain place.. i should be a fan of their teams..its that simple you fool

    WHAT RAIDERS RATINGS SHOULD BE
    MICHEAL HUFF -88
    TYVON BRANCH-92
    PHILLIP ADAMS-83
    MARCELL REECE-95/DOES EVERYTHING
DARREN MCFADDEN-94/WOULD BE HIGH IF HE ACTUALLY PLAYED
    CARSON PALMER-81
    DENARIOUS MOORE-87
    DARIOUS HEYWARD BAY-81
EVERYONE ELSE IS PRETTY MUCH GOOD WHERE THEIR AT but
Micheal hUff is very underated on here.. he is really a free safety but since both of our corner backs hit ir he has been a shutdown corner.. phillip adams is also underrated.. tyvon branch is quietly one if the best strong safeties.. if it wasnt for all those penalties in the frknt 7 and on offensive line .we would be a much different team
