NCAA Football 14 Cover Vote Advances to Semifinal Round

Posted February 19th, 2013 at 1:45 pm

The lengthy campaign to determine the cover athlete for NCAA Football 14 continues with now just four candidates remaining. Voting for this round starts from scratch and runs through Sunday after which only a pair will remain to go head-to-head for the cover honor. Support is cast through the game’s official Facebook page poll.

Based on the previous rounds Denard Robinson and Eddie Lacy would be expected to advance in relatively easy fashion over Ryan Swope and Kenjon Barner. While Robinson has jumped out way in front early with 20K votes it is Swope that has found second place sitting at 10K. Lacy is trailing with just 5K while Barner is well behind with only 2K. Given that both Robinson and Lacy drew over 100K in the quarterfinals there is a long way to go before that second slot is determined and Alabama fans are sure to turn out sooner rather than later.

This thing has been going on forever. Just decide the cover and be done with it already.

Yeah, this is a boring time of the year, when everyone’s mastered both NCAA & Madden, and we’re waiting on next seasons games. I’ve got a new hobby, an F4U Corsair Warbird RC plane. I’m headed to the garage to finish it so It’ll be ready to fly by spring.

I will really enjoy seeing Denard throwing on the cover after he moved to HB and WR by the end of the year after being recruited as a corner

  • Next year make it easy an put Clowney on cover. Even if Manziel comes out, wouldn’t be surprised if both get cover like one for Playstation 4 and other on xbox.

  • Just Blaze!
