Three of the New Classic Teams for NBA 2K16

2K Sports recently revealed three new historic teams for NBA 2K16, and strongly hinted that there are other teams being added as well. It’s been a few years since new teams were introduced into the series so it’s fairly big news.
They are the 99-00 Toronto Raptors, 00-01 Los Angeles Lakers, and 07-08 Boston Celtics.
In a piece written for Sporting News the three teams are examined in greater detail including the level of success they had, their rosters, and the role classic teams have played in NBA 2K’s success since they debuted in 2K11.
