EA Play and E3 are right around the corner, with the big EA press briefing taking place on Sunday, but the company has pushed out the first news on FIFA 17 in advance of the event. The game will feature the Frostbite Engine, which has been used to power the Battlefield series and others like Need for Speed, Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, and Star Wars Battlefront.
Lionel Messi is gone from the cover, and in his place are Eden Hazard, Anthony Martial, Marco Reus, and James Rodriguez. Those four are also involved in the pre-order incentives which of course tie entirely into Ultimate Team mode.
