Full roster for NBA Playgrounds

Developer Saber Interactive has revealed the entire NBA Playgrounds roster through Gamespot which is made up of 44 players from the league’s past and 3-6 players representing each team. I’ve broken that complete list out into the legends and for the current players with their respective teams.

Surprisingly there are some great present day players that have been left off the game including Isaiah Thomas, Klay Thompson, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Kemba Walker. A tweet from the company makes it sound like the roster will be expanding, but it’s not clear why these players may have been omitted in the first place and if they’ll be among those added at a later date. NBA Playgrounds will release in May for $20 on PS4, XB1, PC, and Switch.

  • Wavvy_Crockett

Is Russell Westbrook listed as a legend because they’re having a special version ala 3 jordans in street or typo?

    • My mistake in laying things out. Fixed now.

  • ClubSteve

no kobe or pippen? no klay or kemba? or isaiah? (either one) bosh isn’t even playing,,,,hope they don’t charge for DLC players or legends. still looking for editable rosters and create-a-player….

    • ClubSteve

  • Khaleel Ward

Very weird they are missing All-Stars. And some teams have way more players.

  • Kaz McFly

What’s the likelihood we get Jordan in the future? DLC?

    • I doubt they could afford him, or possibly he may have exclusivity to 2K.

    • Nelson Muntz

      Exclusive to 2K

  • Anthony Suriano

No Greek Freak on the Bucks, but at least we get Thon Maker.

  • WilsonRamos
