Two weeks ago MLB The Show 19 received its first in-season roster update which introduced a number of rookies who had made their debuts. It did not however alter any player attributes. That instead has come about today with release of the second in-season roster update for The Show. Altered ratings are a bigger deal for the series than most others given that Diamond Dynasty card ratings change as well affecting both their performance and their value.

The most impactful changes apply to those that move up or down a tier in Diamond Dynasty. With the first movement of the season that includes Blake Snell (+2 to 85, Gold to Diamond), Andrelton Simmons (-1 to 84, Diamond to Gold), Jose Berrios (+2 to 81, Silver to Gold), Luis Castillo (+2 to 80, Silver to Gold), Ryan Pressly (+2 to 80, Silver to Gold), Wilson Contreras (+2 to 80, Silver to Gold), D.J. LeMahieu (+2 to 80, Silver to Gold), Jose Alvarado (+2 to 80, Silver to Gold), Jose Abreu (-2 to 79, Gold to Silver), and Yu Darvish (-2 to 79, Gold to Silver).

Other notables on the move include Chris Sale (-1 to 89), Christian Yelich (+2 to 88), Jose Altuve (+1 to 88), Josh Hader (+2 to 87), Jose Ramirez (-1 to 87), Corey Kluber (-2 to 86), Andrew Miller (-2 to 85), Cody Bellinger (+2 to 84). The full list of changes can be found here.
