The new EA Sports World launches

As has been mentioned previously, EA Sports World was preparing to debut a revamped site with improved functionality. That has been launched today and the pages for Nascar 09 and NCAA Football 09 are live. You can check it out here.
This should offer a significant improvement over the offering that gamers dealt with up until now. My first reaction was being a little overwhelmed by how cluttered the main page is though. Hopefully capacity isn’t a problem like it was last year around the launches of NCAA and Tiger Woods. Features such as Nascar 09’s Paint Booth, NCAA Football 09 and Madden 09’s video uploading and online dynasty/league tracking, and Facebreaker’s video uploading and created fighter sharing will be bring a lot of gamers to the site.
Apparently everything previously held on the site such as stats, videos, and screenshots have not been transferred over (in a few weeks those things will begin migrating over). That isn’t exactly the best way to treat the consumers who have been using the website up until this point. Feel free to leave your comments on how the site could be improved and the feedback will be passed along.

Off topic, but no one is commenting here anyway, why did they stop the Madden Mondays feature? I always looked forward to that coming home from school.
Because EA only gave them a certain amount of information to release, and they used it all.

Hey Pasta, just wanted to say at 1st I liked your new changes to your site but now I’m starting to like the old site design better. Too much white in the background. Needs to be a little more colorful. You have the best insight out there though! Keep up the good work!
Josh, a few changes are going to be made, some adjustments to color and trying to lessen the white actually. Just wanted to let you know that!

Is anyone having trouble adding friends? Everytime I go to accept a friend it says friend added but when I chack my friends list it say I have no friends. Hmmm……?

Hey Pasta–I watched a couple of the FIFA vids, and they seemed far less choppy than the ones we were able to upload for NCAA 08. Any chance NCAA 09’s replays will look this good?

Just checked the friends list feature out and everything is working fine now. Check it out when you get a chance and let me know if it worked for you.

Are you referring to the EURO 08 videos on the new EA SPORTS World site? If so, yes your NCAA videos will look as good as those.

I just tried adding my friend again, and its still not showing up. He sent me a request I open it and it says add me as friend. So I click on add as a friend and then his picture shows up and says ADDED but when I check my friends list there is still no friends.
since they confirmed the EA Sports World will NOT have dynasty stats linked to the site, what is there to look forward to, aside from uploading vids and pics?

MARTIN 2180 is the name on the account. And yes its a huge let down that the site will not support the online dynasty stats/info. I was really looking forward to that. But I still will enjoy the video’s.
Alright so I can request a friend and if they accept it will add them. But if someone sends me a friends request its says it added the person but he is not on my friends list.
Cool website, but I have an issue. When I edit my profile, I see the option to change personas, but my gamertag is not listed. I have already linked my gamertag to my ea master account but it doesn’t show up.
