Online Dynasty Resurrected

After the utter disappointment of today comes some reason for hope. After investigating issues with the online dynasties throughout the day EA was able to remove a couple rogue files from my dynasty’s locker. Everything now loads up fine and appears to be accurate up to the point where the problems began. The Pastapadre Online Dynasty may attempt to advance to week two late tonight or in the early morning.
While this was just a temporary solution, and there is no guarantee the same problem won’t occur again, it is encouraging. Hopefully they’ll be able to restore all the damaged dynasties while finding a permanent fix very soon.

well i just tried to get on my dynasty and its still not working
So how do you contact EA. i have been emailing them but they keep giving me BS answers that dont work.

Totally off topic. I want to buy this game, but i want to be able to choose weather playing with a friend online…is this possible?
I feel your pain. Remeber my NASCAR 09 issues? yeah, had to start all over 5 times now by erasing the profile. I stopped playing the game alltogether now. Look at the forums for NASCAR 09 on the official website, EVERYONE that has the 360 has the same problem. There is an online petition going around but that will do little good. EA has some serious problems with thier games this year when it come to locking up.
i just hope madden doesnt have the some problems or EA will have some big issues.

Ok great ur dynasty working but a person up top just said his is not working. if thats the case the problem is not fix and the online experience is still mess up.For all the other people who had a problem is there dynasty still mess up. If so let us know so we wont get our hopes up. im really trying to start a online dynasty before madden comes out so i wont be distracted with another game.
At least he knows people are working on a patch to NCAA and it might be fixed soon. Us NASCAR users have not heard a single engineer say they were working on a fix. I want to sell the game on EBAY but I actually feel guilty selling this thing to some unsuspecting gamer who has the same lockup issues as me down the road

Thats great for you guys and your dynasty and I am happy you can get your dynasty running but what about all the other screwed up dynasty’s out there. I’ve got an empty dynasty I can’t do anything about. Hope EA adresses this issue in a more widespread way.

This was basically a test run to see if it worked after they took those files out. They’re still working on a solution to get everyone’s fixed. This is a good sign that is coming though.
Again, at least your engineers are actively working with you on this issue. Us Nascar gamers havent heard squat,
Gamestop will not buy Nascar 09, too many have come back. What gives with these guys? (EA)

hows this for an idea to continue dynasty’s that were lost by EA.
get someone from the dynasty to load the most recently saved file into an OFFLINE dynasty and then have them re-load that file back into an ONLINE dynasty.
I tried this and it works, however we could always see the same problem in the future. but as long as people keep saving the file at the start of every new week, you’ll always be able to load it offline then re-load back online.

Relax guys this isn’t going to happen overnight. The good news is its fixable (or so it seems) through the EA servers and a patch wont need to be developed and passed through microsoft and Sony. They have to start somewhere and it looks as if the ball is atleast rolling.
something else i noticed that they fixed up The Weather Feed now properly works in games thats a step in the right direction playing games with the same partly cloudy 75 degree weather was annoying
hmmm very strange and odd none of these glitches happen to me. they sad los angeles would be partly cloudy today and it was from the feed. and when i upload rosters from ea locker, i can edit them and no teams would be missing.
Not trying to start crap but do you think if you were an average Joe without a gaming website they would have bent over backwards to reset your file? I am guessing not. Again I LOVE playing NCAA thus far…..I just think EA needs to sit down and take a hard look at their QA process.

LOL…so they fixed YOUR dynasty. What about everybody elses!?!?!? I’m going to start my own website right now so I can get mine fixed too.

guys it wasnt done just to fix pasta’s dynasty but to test whether it would work in the first place. this was good news for everyone

you know this would’nt be that bad if ea would come out and give us updates
every so often and let us know whats going on.when we have to get news about things from a third party(thanks by the way pasta) it really make ea look as if thay are hiding something.just let us know whats going on.
Pasta is ur dynasty being run when roster names?
Did ur dynasty pick up from where it left off when they sent the patch to ur dynasty?
A buddy on my friends list said he called EA about this and they told him it was the roster names doing this.Did this happen to anybody yet who is using the default rosters.
Is this problem just effecting the Online Dynasty Mode? If I download a roster and start an offline dynasty will there be any issues with that?
