EASportsWorld.com has gone live

EASportsWorld.com

Update 8/28: An updated article on EA Sports World and the problems people are facing with the site can be found by clicking here.

Update 8/30: News on EA’s response to the problems with the site can be found here.

The website EA has set up to host the screenshots and video clips from NCAA Football has just gone live. The address is http://www.easportsworld.com

I haven’t gotten a chance to really go through the site, but it seems to offer more than just the ability to view and download those. It looks like you can add friends and leave comments on their profiles among other things I have yet to discover.

I have a few pics and videos on there, nothing extraordinary though. I have been recording to my PC for the highlight videos so I only put a few up to test out now that this site is up. Later tonight or tomorrow I’ll get some better ones on to this site for people to check out. Here is the link to my page.

I am trying to set up my account on easportsworld.com and it says NO_PERSONA when I try to enter my email and password. Do I need the game to acess this feature or should I just be able to sign in?

    Nevermind I figured it out.

Actually no I didn’t. Do I have to register the game first?

That’d be my guess, maybe you have to accept terms and conditions through the game first?

I am assuming thats what the problem is. I have been searching around other forums (MaddenMania and MaddenNation) and nobody seems to have any solution to this problem as of now. I am chalking it up to not having the game as of yet. By the way pasta great stuff on the Campus Legend.

Nice! This addition to the game is awesome. I love the ability to upload videos and photos online. The site looks very cool. This will definitely be a feature that I use a lot and I hope its in EA’s other sports titles as well.

This is a great addition. It should help out all the Franchise and Superstar guys a ton, should make the overall experience much better.

do you have the actual game yet? I think that you have to log in with the game and accept terms, ect through that before you can set up your profile on the website.

This is sweet, it is like the youtube of ncaa. It will be great for dynastys, EA really stepped up and made some great football games on the 360 when they needed it. I’m interested how they use this in other games such as Tiger Woods.

The web registration interface will be coming up around Monday or Tuesday. Currently, only people that have pre-release copies of the retail game are registered (automatically when they go online the first time and go through the little registration flow). The ‘persona’ is your ID on the particular platform (e.g. gamertag on xb360). when the web registration is ready you will be able to create an account and web persona without owning a copy of the game and going online. From your profile, you can select the persona to use when posting comments, blogs, etc. on the site. definitely a lot more stuff coming, i hope you enjoy it.

The EA Sports World website is awesome. It is awesome to be able to upload videos and to view other gamers’ videos. This is next-gen….
