Yesterday brought the release of the NCAA Basketball 10 demo (at least for those with a 360) and I posted up my initial impressions of the after spending some time with it. You can check out that article here. In addition to the impressions I wanted to get a few HD videos of the demo up. These are played on All-Conference difficulty controlling Duke and using the default broadcast camera. Continue on to watch the videos and leave your thoughts in the comments.

the nba live dynamic season has gotta be messed up, i look at the live stats in the main menu, and they are totally different then wat is in the dynam. season!!!I have played a game in dyn. season yet, and the stats are wrong so could someone please explain wats up??
November 7, 2009 at 4:31 am
I believe if I'm understanding what you're describing correctly that EA knows about that issue and has been working to get it fixed. I'll try to get an update early next week.
November 7, 2009 at 4:49 am
Thank you pasta i appreciate the quick response. Does ncaa bball 10 have a feature similar to nba live. obviously not the roster changes cuz its college but the hot/cold streaks??
November 7, 2009 at 12:42 pm
It changes the team ratings
November 7, 2009 at 4:54 am
ps3 owners got screwed again. appreciate the vids tho so at least i could get a look at the game
November 7, 2009 at 4:59 am
how did ps3 owners get screwed?????????????
November 7, 2009 at 5:14 am
because 360 owners got the demo 1st. PS3 users wont get demo till the 19th…2 days after the game is released. FML.
November 7, 2009 at 5:49 am
you screwed yourself Padre.
November 7, 2009 at 9:10 am
How is the shooting handled? Is it based off of when you realease the button at the top of the shot or is it like EA games have been in the past in that you dont need to time it? I prefer timing the shots and I hope that is the case.
November 7, 2009 at 1:16 pm
It plays like live…You have to release at the top of your jump….The controls are outstanding….If you like Live, you will definitely enjoy NCAA.
I agree with what Pasta wrote in a previous thread — This demo is a game seller…
November 7, 2009 at 12:06 pm
I dont see how u guys can say this game looks good..Yeah the CBS thing is pretty cool but the gameplay is freakin terrible..No deflections at all..I see passes going through guys to offensive players and the do the jumpin thing after every score that looks ridiculous..Players dribble humped all over and I see the same moves and shots every time down court..This game would get old the first time playin it!
November 7, 2009 at 1:17 pm
There is a ton of deflections…I also saw a guy tip a rebound to himself. The videos don't do the game justice.
November 8, 2009 at 2:18 am
you sr dont play basketball clearly this game is a beast
November 9, 2009 at 5:42 pm
You obviously didn't watch the videos. No deflections? Whatever.
November 7, 2009 at 12:52 pm
I like the broadcast (zoom) better
November 7, 2009 at 3:49 pm
I like this game. I'm not a huge NCAA Basketball fan either. I can't win a game but thats because I go from playing NBA 2K10 to this demo so I keep getting the controls mixed up. I do with it was a full game though.
November 7, 2009 at 4:14 pm
ncaa is going to be a great game!! As long as pasta does the real player names, it is going to be sick….the only reason i want the names is cuz it makes it more authentic
November 7, 2009 at 6:09 pm
true that
November 7, 2009 at 10:02 pm
EA Locker should be back….
November 7, 2009 at 7:37 pm
For the people playing nba live 10, do you guys prefer to play rewind games or today's games in dynamic season??
November 7, 2009 at 2:24 pm
I’ve been playing them as replay games.
November 7, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Can U still Change the Presentation in the demo?
November 7, 2009 at 10:02 pm
No…Only the CBS presentation is available…..It is rock solid…The commentary is excellent and the overlays are awesome….
November 8, 2009 at 12:47 am
the presentation is great but the gameplay is AWFUL
November 8, 2009 at 3:23 am
I like how it tells you the player's major when he's shooting free throws
November 8, 2009 at 12:38 pm
Is this coming out for the PS2?
November 8, 2009 at 1:47 pm
This game doesn't look that bad but the two flaw's I see are, the records are wrong, and in the first video they kept blowing the whistle before the foul was called. That's just my point of view.
November 8, 2009 at 4:47 pm
dont forget this is the demo those problems should be fixed by Nov. 18……Hopefully
November 8, 2009 at 10:22 pm
wait, what was wrong with the records?
November 8, 2009 at 5:52 pm
The Duke Blue Devils and The NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS. Gus says Unc with a bizzare emphasis.
November 9, 2009 at 2:43 am
What about importing my draft class? Anyone? EA are you out there?
November 10, 2009 at 12:28 am
um what happened at 2:24 on the 2nd video? it looks like the ball goes in but gus jonhson says it doesnt and duke doesnt get any points
November 9, 2009 at 6:20 pm
Yeah that was odd. It looked good to me too when I was playing but every reaction on the court was as though it was a missed shot.
November 18, 2009 at 2:00 am
graphics suck as always
November 7, 2009 at 7:30 pm
oh my bad
