Things finally appear to be gearing up for UFC Undisputed 2010. The trailer in early December and rumored roster is all that has made its way out until now. THQ has revealed that Brock Lesnar will be on the cover of UFC Undisputed 2010. In an interview with Gamespot this news and some details on the game were discussed.

This is somewhat surprising given that Lesnar has been out due to a serious illness for months. He does plan to be back this year though and is definitely one of the most mainstream recognizable names given his emergence in the WWE and his dominance since joining UFC.

Mentioned in the interview are aspects of UFC 2010 such as the introduction of a fight camp to career mode, adjustments to controls, changes to submission calculations, full cage support, three new fighter styles, and the addition of online fight camps. Continue on for a look at the cover and leave your thoughts in the comments!

Online Fight Camps! That is going to be so fun to be a part of

  • Ricky

Awsome way better than EA MMA

  • sroeland

Lesnar kinda looks like Drago from Rocky IV in that picture.

    “I must break you.”

    Eh.
Silva should of gotten the cover.

But this does look pretty cool

I'm not surprised he got it. He's the most popular fighter to the mainstream MMA fans because of his WWE days. Plus he's the current heavyweight champ. Guys like GSP, Silva, and could have made the cover and I'd be fine with it. But who cares, it's a cover. I'm going to play the game regardless of who's on it.

EA MMA and Undisputed. I'm looking forward to both…

Dang. Looks like I'm going to have to get a custom cover. I can't stand to look at this douchebag… He and Phillip Rivers and Floyd Mayweather are the only athletes I dislike that strongly.

  • NoFro904

    Whats wrong with money Mayweather.
He talks and backs it all up

  • Bob

Pasta any news of Herschel Walker possibly being on a future cover?

  • Kevin T

Is that why he's afraid to face Manny Pacquiao?

  • Max Jones

Afraid???…why didn't Manny just take the test…is he hiding something?
Hope not but sure as hell Pacquiao would be chasing Floyd around the ring and by the time
he gets to him it's lights out for Manny. And by the way,….how many times did Mayweather lost…mmmmmmmm…I can't remember..can you?

  • brownclown

boooooooooo put Silvia on the cover

  • NoFro904

HAHA how did i know someone would say he was scared to fight Pac Man.

The biggest paying fight in boxing history and possibly the biggest fight ever
And all Floyd wants is a fair clean fight. Whats wrong with that?
Its not like Floyd wouldnt be doing the same test pacman would

All it is a simple blood test and pacman is refusing???
If hes not hiding anything then he would just go through with the drug test
If anyone is scared its def pacman. Of needles and Floyd
I Dont blame him though. I Mean Floyd is 40-0 for a reason

Here's my opinion on the “delayed” Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight. Like many fight fans and most sports writer, I'm leaning more towards Pacquiao's side. Many Mayweather supporter keeps asking the question '”if you have nothing to hide, why not take the test?” But at the same time can't seem to answer the other side's question of “what's the difference between testing days before the fight and day, even just hours, after the fight?” We may need someone with PhD on sports science/medical, though.

But they are both getting the same test? There's an old saying in boxing that style makes fight. From what I read, drawing blood has some impact on your form. Pacquiao is highly popular because of his kill-kill-style, which takes a lot of energy compare to Mayweather's style, who don't present the same output as the aforementioned fighter. Seriously, though, we need someone highly familiar with anabolic and sports performance.

Although both fighter has something to do with this fight being “delayed,” at least Pacquiao's side tried to make compromise. Mayweather's side is asking a lot more, and what was Schaefer's excuse for not wanting to stage the fight in Dallas? Because they did not want to fight “outdoor.” Depriving (or would have) over 60 thousands sports fans the chance of seeing the fight live.

And plz stop bringing out Mayweather's undefeated record. Very impressive indeed, but even many of the best boxing offered like Lennox “I need to stop commentating fights” Lewis, Foreman, Leonard, Ali, Hagler, Duran, and Frazier, has losses (some they avenged).

This is coming from a guy who've regularly been following Mayweather since he beat Corrales (RIP), unlike many who's been jumping the wagon after his “hiphop fight” with Zab (I'm guessing many of these are Saints fan, yes, I went there). And what makes a lot of people think that Mayweather could easily KO Pacquiao when Pac proved he can take heavy shots from punchers, while Floyd hasn't KO a natural welterweight and was never really known as a KO artist.

This fight WILL happen. But to be honest, his fight with Mosley is not without big risk. Mosley proved he has the power to KO big jawed welterweights and up. At least if he would lose against Pac, a fight I've yet know who'd win, he'd still be 40 million richer. Until the contract is signed, though, Vasquez-Marquez 4 still my most anticipated fight of the year.

Lastly, Brock Lesnar? Although the cover looks good, the choice of fighter I don't agree with. At least in regards to accomplishment. Anderson Silva's English, or lack thereof, probably kill it for him making the NA cover. And what's up with the UFC's weak upcoming events? Peace!

haha u should be working for sportscenter.
Im no bandwagon guy like some people, ive watched boxing pretty much my whole life with
Roy Jones and the money man himself being my Fav :) .

But Boxing as a whole should make some kind of standard drug testing policy instead of this state by state stuff so things like this can be avoided.
I Honestly dont think either one is afraid to fight each other they just cant agree on the terms of the fight.

But yea i cant wait for Mayweather vs. Mosley. Mosley def has a chance of giving floyd his first loss. I just cant see it happening though

Your right, because of the different rules and regulation from different commission, you get a lot of “he said, she said” argument. Should they have a nationwide standard? Yes. But it cost money and most fighters out there brings home lower five figures. Even the NFL, the most popular pro-sports in the US, which I'm sure why most of us are here in this site, don't do blood test. The testing method has only been around a few years and probably warrant further research.

But as I was saying, Pacquiao-Mayweather is simply delayed, given both fighter wins their upcoming fight, respectively. Peace!
