Dan Henderson and Frank Trigg Join EA MMA

Two significant names have been added to the EA Sports MMA roster. Dan Henderson and Frank Trigg have been confirmed and both have interesting angles to note. It has been public knowledge for months that Trigg would be in the game however what makes it interesting is he recently returned to UFC and is fighting this weekend. Henderson just left UFC and joined Strikeforce opening him up to sign with EA MMA.

Given the rumored roster for UFC 2010 includes Henderson there is the possibility he will be in both games or may end up being removed before UFC 2010 is released. Trigg on the other hand will join Randy Couture as the only two fighters in EA MMA that are currently fighting in UFC. Neither is expected to appear in UFC 2010.

This are significant? Another over the hill old guy, wait two more over the hill old guys. Trigg is only good for one thing, giving people his back. Hendo is good, but the guy is like 50. This game should be called EA MMA retirement force.

might not have all the big name fighters but the overall game will prob be better

EA MMA ftw! I actually like Strikeforce. Their league is a bit more colorful and has a lot more personality than the UFC. The UFC takes itself too seriously… I can't wait for the day when Strikeforce and the UFC have an interleague battle. Should be interesting.
