‘Take 1’ is a new weekly posting that will recap the previous weeks entertainment news. ‘Captain America’ is picked, a ‘Predators’ trailer, and one of the highest grossing films of all time is coming back to theaters in 3D, are all amongst the big pieces of news this week.
- Review: Green Zone. Stars Matt Damon and directed by Paul Greengrass.
- ‘Titanic’ 3D Release Coming In 2012. James Cameron expects it to hit theaters by Spring 2012.
- New on DVD: Week of March 15. Disney’s The Princess and the Frog was the big release of the week.
- Sam Worthington To Lead Another Franchise. Warner Brothers has signed him as the lead in Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future.
- Avatar Hitting DVD and Blu-ray on April 22. The movie will release April 22nd, and will not have any extras included.
- Craig Gillespie To Direct ‘Fright Night’ Remake. Classic 80s horror/comedy is being remade by Mr. Woodcock director.
- Top DVD Sales and Rentals for Week Ending March 14, 2010. Disney’s Old Dogs was the top selling DVD.
- Jamie Foxx Joins Kane and Lynch. Foxx will join Bruce Willis in the adaptation of the video game series Kane and Lynch.
- Trailer for Predators. First trailer for the film produced and co-written by Robert Rodriguez.
- Weekend Box Office Predictions 3/19. Alice In Wonderland expected to be #1 for another week.
- New Superman and Batman Films Will Be Released In 3D. 3D is taking over the world.
- New ‘Clash Of The Titans’ Clip. Fighting scene featuring ‘Perseus’ and ‘Calibos’.
- Captain America Offered to Chris Evans. Johnny Storm moves over to Steve Rogers.
