- Shake-up of American Idol Judges. Judges will be Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, and Randy Jackson.
- Redbox Begins Blu-ray Rentals. Charging $1.50 a night.
- ’30 Days of Night: Dark Days’ Trailer. Straight to DVD release on October 5, 2010.
- Total Recall Reboot in the Works. Len Wiseman to direct reboot of 1990 sci-fi classic.
- Burn Notice Prequel Movie in the Works. Will focus on Sam (Bruce Campbell).
- Comic-Con Trailer: Let Me In. Remake of the Swedish horror film from 2008.
- Comic-Con Teaser: Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Jack Sparrow introduces audience to the film.
- Comic-Con Trailer: True Blood. For the second half of the season (spoilers abound).
- Comic-Con Trailer: Sucker Punch. Footage debut from the Zack Snyder film was a big hit.
- Comic-Con Trailer: Priest. Based on the graphic novel series about “Priests” hunting vampires.
- Comic-Con Trailer: Drive Angry 3D. The Nicholas Cage film (and 3D) looked impressive in person.
