Your Thoughts on Madden 11

With Madden 11 now officially out leave your impressions of the game in the comments! I’ll be working up an online play report for later this week, however a word of warning in advance. Ranked games don’t count if quit out of in the first half. Quitters don’t get a loss and those quit on don’t get a win or even the chance to play the CPU out for the win (also means no coins earned). This is obviously a huge concern right now to monitor with the online experience taking a huge hit because of it. Links to pre-release coverage can be found below.

the only bad thing about madden is tackling , the computer brakes way to many tackle if not even cool…is there any button to press to make a sure tackle on all madden.. anyone?

madden 11 is the shit just because it’s to hard for most of you, you think its dumb, on madden 10 i use too beat the comp. by 30 points every game. its harder but better. the tackling dose need a lil improvement but and the hit stick is the most realistic ive ever seen, it makes you think twice before you use it just like in real life its a risky tackle, if you know anything about football.

Madden 11 is so damn irritating especially the Ultimate Mode. It’s nearly impossible to maintain your team without running out of gold coins. I don’t mind that some of the great players are limited in number but the fact that you never really get anyone worth anything. I have opened about 5 Ultimate packs only to get nothing worth of value and what little I got I couldn’t turn and sell on the auction block because their was already 5 of the same worthless card on the block. I know what your thinking only 5 packs, well consider how long it takes to earn 21,000 after getting contract extenstion cards that give you a whopping 5 games and buying worthless packs to keep your team afloat. The only packs worth buying is the platinum and ultimate packs or is it? I want so bad to enjoy UT but it just doesn’t work. I’m glad they tried to fix the quitting problem but to no avail. People still quit on me and after the fact that I’m beating the hell out of them they quick and what do I get 700 coins after leading by 3 td’s. Not enough coin to handle the 4 players who’s contracts just expired. UT has even ruined Franchise mode for me. How many times can I dominate the computer? I am trying to find the will to continue but the irritation is to strong. Maybe the NCAA game would have been a better choice.

Not the biggest Madden fan but that thought I would rent it and check Madden 11 out.
The graphics are great and the most visually impressive madden yet. Technically there
was way too many problems with a utter lack of defense. It is not uncommon to see a 56-38 final score playing a 8 minute quarters.

What would make the madden series better if you made use of the experienced players in the game, like LT would be able to teach the rookies and younger running backs how to play their game better through his experience. Also making the experience backs be able to call out blitzes that the inexperienced quarter backs don’t see. This would be a big change if every position had this ability.
