Latest NCAA Football 13 Patch Out Now

The third post-release patch for NCAA Football 13, which was announced earlier this month, is now available on both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Highlights of the patch include fixing an issue with no-huddle, addressing various problems with recruiting in Dynasty mode, and eliminating an online grieving exploit. Gameplay
•Fixed issue where running the no-huddle was taking too long.
•Fixed an issue where players were sometimes not breaking the huddle.
•Fixed it so receivers won’t slip as much on the turf when it is raining.

Dynasty
•Fixed it where prospects were softly committing to schools even though they were not on that school’s recruiting board or showed any interest.
•Fixed some recruiting logic where CPU teams were not offering scholarships to some prospects.
•Fixed an issue with uploading highlights to Dynasty Wire.
•Made the sorting on the Recruiting more user friendly so that it remembers previous sorts.
•Fixed an issue where a prospect with low interest was getting changed to “N/A”.
•Fixed an issue where some Online Dynasties were losing players and coaches.
•Fixed a problem where promises were getting deleted.

Online Head-to-Head
•Fixed a reporting issue where going offsides three times forced opponent into a loss.

Stability
•Increased the stability of the product by fixing various crashes.

  Man he is like a pinworm…can’t seem to get rid of him!! At this point tho, i could care less. If they take away the player editing for names this game will die anyway. Everyone who says they will continue to buy it regardless of fake names…keep telling yourself that. You will go into the EA locker out of habit, and still try to upload the latest roster, and then throw your controler when you realize it can’t be done anymore. Myself, ive been gaming on ncaa 11…graphics look the same if not better, and i can complete a game without the iceman freezin me!

    I saw the freeze thread over at OS is now up to 23 pages — wonder if this latest patch is gonna finally solve the freeze problems that have been present for years.

      I play more than most and have never been froze out, thought several of my dynasty players have been vicitims

        well i basically was handed the game for free and was playing countless hours, and i saw the freeze at least x2 every season during the halftime BS…game has been collecting dust for a while, and i am pretty sure this latest patch did nothing to improve the game at all. Keith; on a side note the freeze is a huge glitch, but have you seen the thread about the safety glitch? Most think this was a more drastic problem to the game than the freezing. I guess safety play is always set to aggressive for the cpu, and you can just cam newton it down the field at will. I didn’t see it that often, but ppl are pretty bummed about it. All in all i have supported the ncaa series for about a decade now, and im done with it. Like i said i didn’t pay really anything for this years game, so i can walk away knowing they didn’t screw me this year.

        I did see the safety glitch thread but haven’t been keeping up on that one.
        
        As for the freezes, the thread at OS has now grown to 24 pages, and from what I can gather, the patch hasn’t done anything to fix the freezes (no real surprise, I guess).

    I’ve been playing this franchise since Bill Walsh College Football on the Genesis and never once downloaded a roster. Never saw the point really since I generally play 20 seasons each iteration. I guess if you only play a season or 2 with it the named players could bring some realism to it but after that you have recruits on the field anyway. I fully accept I may be in the minority with not caring about having named rosters but I think you need to accept that there are plenty just like me out there.
    
    By the way, having said that this is the first year where I’m really struggling to build the desire to play it much so I totally agree that Haumiller has succeeded in running this franchise into the ground. I’ll still buy each year since I’m a college football junky.

  forget about it…they promised the world, and teams are still wearing the wrong jerseys. Everything will have to be payed in full..no freebes from here on out. Hamburglar needs a quarterpounder wit cheese.

Good to have no huddle problem fixed. Recruiting still seems to have some issues but feels a little more competitive for certain players.

Was hoping for some increased crowd volume for the PS3, so when Nessler starts rambling about the stadium atmosphere, I don’t feel like I’m in a library. Maybe next one.

OK, so now I sort players by 40 time in recruiting and their times are not sorted in ascending/descending order at all. Nice fix EA

I just ordered this game on PS3. I never expected to buy this game at all but I got it for a good deal & brand new also.

does this patch affect your dynasty if you already started one before this patch was released? or would i have to start a whole new one and load the new update first?
