The second of three planned updates to enhance the long-neglected Franchise Mode through Madden NFL 21 is scheduled to go out tomorrow. The first, which released in November, was significant in that it was the start of what was promised to materialize over the coming months but was far from being satisfying to those eager for improvements. This update though offers much more substance in the form of commissioner controls and draft logic improvements. The final patch is planned for Februar...

2K Sports has just rolled out a major patch for NBA 2K21 that addresses community feedback across various modes in the game as well as gameplay. Most notable are the dramatic changes made to shooting which have been roundly rejected by consumers and a fix to 2K Share which had not worked at all since release. Putting in a mechanic that changes maybe the most fundamental element of a basketball game without actually telling players about it or how to use it was a huge unforced error on the...

EA Sports has already released one update for Madden NFL 21 with another patch scheduled to arrive by the end of the week. The fixes implemented are for things that severely impacted player's first impressions and made it appear obvious that the game was not quite ready for release. Those range from slowdown in the Ultimate Team menus, to missing players making The Yard quite literally unplayable, fields missing yard and slideline markings, and even the Seahawks being misspelled as the 'Seah...
