Post-release support continues for Rory McIlroy PGA Tour which has received several patches and content additions. Most recently a third real-world course was introduced to the game and there is still one more to come.

Today another patch went out for the game which added in turn-based stroke play for unranked online matches. Also included in the update are attribute changes to the roster of licensed golfers, some audio and course fixes for PGA West, and various camera fixes.

The game is still on sale with a PlayStation 4 digital code going for $13.19 at Amazon and is expected to make it to the EA Access Vault on Xbox One in the near future.

This game had the potential to be best golfing sim ever.

Yes. And instead it’s one of the most bare-bones ever.

If this game gets a sequel one day, hopefully it will be everything this one should have been and more. Sadly, that seems unlikely.

Looks like it’s not on sale anymore. Too bad. I would have considered it for $13 and change.
