EA Sports today released yet another patch for Madden NFL 18. There’s only a few changes but they could be significant as they directly impact gameplay. Besides one fix to random instances where CPU ball-carriers would run super slowly it appears they are primarily directed at balancing with the competitive eSports and online head-to-head crowd particularly in mind.

♦Addressed an issue that was causing some AI controlled ball carriers to move slowly and/or not perform special moves
♦Tuned to decrease range of width on kickoffs to address the kickoff exploit that could force returners out of bounds inside their own five-yard line

Players have given us feedback that they’d like more control when clicked-on to a defender in pursuit. We wanted to provide more opportunities for both user-controlled and AI-controlled defenders to make tackles vs. jukes and spins.

♦Substantial reduction to fake-outs for user defenders against ball carrier special moves
♦Slight reduction to fake-outs for AI controlled defenders against ball carrier special moves

how about patching in the pro bowl and the pro bowl skills competition?

    • Andy Boi

Been asking for pro bowl for years

      • ClubSteve

just plain lazy if you ask me….they should be at 2k’s level at this point and they aren’t even close.

Give me a break, only a handful of people would want that. Pro bowl? SMH.

      • ClubSteve

if “it’s in the game”, it’s supposed to be in the game…..smh.

EA Sports once again launches a patch to fix some errors and causes others. This time, some characters displayed on the screen are bugged.

All I really care about is that this patch does not affect my game play sliders… Finally got ‘good enough’ sliders.

I agree. I recently got rid of my NBA 2k, everytime i get my sliders perfected, they would release a patch that screw up the gameplay.
