March Madness 08 bracket pack released

Over the last couple months I speculated that the Bracket Pack would return for March Madness 08 and today came official word that is has arrived. It appears to be exclusive to the Xbox 360 at a price of 400 MS points and is available now in the Marketplace.
Not only does it include the 65 team NCAA Tournament bracket but also updated team ratings, 25 new alternate/third jerseys from tournament teams, and the authentic Alamodome Final Four court.
Curiously Oregon’s McArthur Arena, which was voted to be the free download offering, is listed as being included in the pack. That would make it decidedly not free.
I’m tempted to pick up MM08 now, just to try out this pack, everyone raved over it last year.
I’m thinking that 09 could be great considering that in the interview that Pasta posted, there was a lot of talk about things that would not be in 08 but could be in 09.

Forget 09…All EA does is create the false impression that something will change next year…I don’t want to hear about next year…Lost of promises and minimal results have been the story for the majority of EA games:
Madden 06, 07 and 08 = Nothing Special…Same damn game we saw on current gen with prettied up graphics
NBA LIVE 06, 07 08 = See above comments
NHL (Next Gen) = Probably EA’s best game to date for a next gen console
NCAA 07, 08 = Decent but still far from what I would expect for a next gen game
EA 09 = Big Hopes and CRUSHED DREAMS
But hey there is always Madden 2010!!!

I have the new pack its pretty cool, has some good things for Oregon U, like 2 new Unis,and a new stadium, but still should have come with the game…
Is it worth it?
why put this pack out for 400Microsoft points
yall decided to take so long to update it its no fair to make people use points to use it plus March maddness is not even better than nba live and nba gave out free donloadable(sp) things

I don’t believe they are allowed to publicize any ratings changes made to NCAA players.
I downloaded the bracket pack last night and I’ve had a lot of fun with it.

A list of added jerseys and tweaks made to the gameplay would be nice to see as well. I’ve heard the gameplay on default sliders has been improved.
Do we really need more unis, especially for Oregon? Not to sound like I belong on Project Runway, but bedazzling the player’s names on the jerseys was just the tip of the un-stylish Oregon iceberg. Atrocious. That being said, I really would like to find this game, even if it’s just for rent. I have nothing against EA. I’m sure they’re doing better at making video games than all of us combined.
