End to “Mario running” in NCAA Football?

A common complaint over the years has been the so-called “Mario running”, where a back gets stuck behind lineman and runs in place. This is something that has been addressed by EA for this year and I captured a nice example of the improvement that has been made in this area.

In the clip you’ll see the ball carrier hit the back of the lineman stopping his momentum and knocking him back. He then starts up again heading through the hole that the line has opened up.

I’ve seen plenty of examples similar to this and it makes the inside running game feel much better in general.
