Teaser Trailer for Legend of the Guardians

The first trailer for the computer animated adaptation Legend of the Guardians has been released. Based on the first three books in the best selling series by Kathryn Lasky (The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue) Legend of the Guardians is being made by the same people behind 300 and Happy Feet. Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) directs while Hugo Weaving, Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush, and Helen Miren are amongst those who have provided the voice acting for the film. Legend of the Guardians is slated to release on September 24th.
Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie’s, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s.
