    AMC has announced they have officially renewed the zombie centric comic-adaptation The Walking Dead for a second season. After premiering to huge ratings it held extremely well in last night's second episode which drew 4.7 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in the 18-49 age range.     Last night's premiere of the comic-adaptation series The Walking Dead became AMC's highest rated premiere ever. The show pulled in 5.3 million viewers and a massive 3.6 rating in the crucial 18-49 demo. When including the two replays that immediately followed the total was 8.1 million viewers for the evening.     AMC has released the teaser that was shown at Comic-Con for the upcoming series The Walking Dead. Running over four minutes the footage was a huge hit with those in attendance and anticipation for the series skyrocketed.
