    Following Comic-Con a trailer for Thor leaked out but was quickly pulled from just about every source it made it to. Now Marvel has officially released a full trailer in HD.     The first looks at Thor that came via production photos elicited anything but enthusiastic response from fans looking forward to the Marvel film. However everything seemed to turn with the panel held at Comic-Con.     Marvel has released these promotional teaser posters for both Thor and Captain America that will be featured at Comic-Con. They are presented in a painted style, not actual imagery from films, with the hopes of eliciting the same emotion that made the characters iconic to begin with.     The first official image of Anthony Hopkins as Odin in Thor has been released. In the background you can also see Chris Hemsworth as Thor, for the first time holding his hammer, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Marvel has also announced that both Thor and Captain America will be released in 3D.     Yesterday concept images for Captain America leaked out and now similar ones for Thor showing how Chris Hemsworth will look in costume have appeared. By comparing them to the first official picture released about a month ago of Hemsworth as Thor they do appear to be legit. Thor is filming now and is slated to release on May 6th 2011. (more…)...

    Per their Twitter account, Production Weekly is reporting that shooting on Marvel’s Thor is set to start in Los Angeles in mid-January. Then, production will move to Santa Fe, New Mexico from March till late-April. The film is being directed by Kenneth Branagh and features a loaded cast.
