What excited you most out of E3 2016?

This year’s E3 was a fairly uneventful one for the crop of annual licensed sports games. FIFA 17 had the big announcement of a story mode and description of some gameplay advancements while Madden NFL 17 detailed improvements to Franchise mode.

Arguably more interesting were the happenings with the somewhat less traditional sports titles. Ubisoft announced a new mountain sports game called Steep with a trailer and gameplay walkthrough that looks spectacular, the first trailer and features were revealed for Forza Horizon 3, and HB Studios announced a sequel to The Golf Club.

Right now Madden isn’t even on my radar. Until the game play videos start flying. I’m not getting punked outta my 60 again.

Only EA access can save EA now.

I liked the FIFA 17 Frost bite engine and PES

Dang bro, I can’t believe that I’m finally agreeing with you. I like what I’m seeing thus far, but this isn’t new. I want a game to which I’m not bored with after a couple of months of playtime like the other versions. EA is good with deceiving the fans with these clips.

Not sure if it was mentioned on here on a post I missed, but EA did recently confirm that the ECHL will be included in NHL 17. No confirmation if the entire Norwegian League will be in the game (two teams were included in NHL 16)

Sorry but it has to be the new God of War. The sport games are going to be basically the same every year with a few new sprinkles.

Have to say Steep does look pretty good though.
