Comcast to Launch Streaming Service
Another player is entering the streaming content arena. Comcast has announced plans to launch Xfinity 'Streampix' which will be available free to those with the Comcast "Triple Play" (TV/internet/phone) subscriptions and $5 to those who only get cable TV. Amazon Prime Streaming Adds Viacom Programs
Amazon today announced that they have reached a deal with Viacom to bring new content to the Instant Streaming service which is free for those with Amazon Prime. The deal means programs from MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, TV Land, and VH1 joins the service. Hulu Launching Original Programming
Not only is Netflix and Youtube beginning to roll out exclusive original programming but they'll joined by Hulu as well next month.
