iOOTP Baseball 2013 Now Available
The mobile baseball management-sim iOOTP 2013 arrived today in the App Store. It is available only on iOS for $5 and includes a free HD version that applies to the iPad accompanied by the standard version for the iPhone and iPod touch. Out of the Park Baseball 14 Release Date Set
Until today the latest edition of the Out of the Park Baseball series had only framed its release as coming in April. Now though an exact date has been pinned down and it's April 12 for all those who pre-order before going wide on April 15. Two Similar Free Card-Based NFL Games Arrive on Mobile Platforms
Management games are nothing new to mobile but with an uptick in player interest, due in part to the success of Ultimate Team mode in EA Sports console titles, more attempts are being made at creating them in the one place that the exclusivity of the NFL license doesn't reach to. NFL Quarterback 13 Impressions
Just over a year after releasing NFL Flick Quarterback a follow-up has arrived. NFL Quarterback 13 is from Full Fat which has developed the line of "Flick" games which also includes NFL Kicker, Golf, Rugby, and Soccer. FIFA 13 for iOS Adds Ultimate Team
For the first time EA Sports has extended an Ultimate Team mode into a mobile offering. An update released today for FIFA 13 on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad adds the team-building mode along with "Game Center" achievements and leaderboards and some general improvements to gameplay and controls. Xbox SmartGlass Now Available on iOS
After a delay Xbox SmartGlass has finally released for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The app can be downloaded through iTunes here. SmartGlass initially rolled out nearly two weeks ago for Windows 8 and Android devices and provides a second-screen to use in communicating with the Xbox 360. Madden Social Officially Launches
The iOS app for Madden NFL Social is now available bringing together both ends of the new game as it went live two weeks ago on Facebook without any announcement. The free-to-play game can be managed either through Facebook or mobile providing for cross-platform play and blends some aspects of Ultimate Team mode and another Facebook game, Madden NFL Superstars, in a multiplayer turn-based environment. (more...)...
