by Brendan Wilhide The NHL season is moving along at full speed now and with the colder weather comes even more desire to play some games. Hockey fans with iOS and Android devices received a new version of NHL 2K this season but, like a preseason darling which has stumbled out of the gates, this year's game offers little to excite past 2K fans and is even disappointing enough that those who blindly spend $8 on it may be turned off from even considering future releases.  (more…)...

An update released on Saturday to the MyNBA2K15 mobile app introducing an additional method of earning VC that transfers over to NBA 2K15. You can now do a daily pick'em with the league's slate of games each day. The reward is an unknown amount of VC for each correct selection because it hasn't actually worked yet. Either users aren't being rewarded for the wins or as is the case today the app fails to load the pages to see results or make the picks. MyNBA2K15 went out alongside the r...

The mobile version of NBA 2K15 released today for iOS devices and Amazon Fire devices. It's unclear when, or even if, it will be brought to Google Play for all other Android devices. There may be some sort of timed exclusivity for Amazon here. Last year though NBA 2K14 did go out several weeks after iOS. This is not to be confused with the free MyNBA2K15 companion app which offers up the ability to get daily bonus VC, chat while in MyPark, and play a card battle game. NBA 2K15 offers tra...

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is the official title and it can be downloaded here for iOS devices and here for Android devices. No, it's not making a comeback to battle EA Sports' NHL series, but NHL 2K has been resurrected to land on mobile devices this fall. The game is being developed in partnership between Virtuos Games and Visual Concepts which is the same arrangement that produces NBA 2K on mobile. It will be available for iOS and Android devices. What you see now for mobile games is primarily free-to-play, but NHL 2K (also like NBA 2K) will sell for $8 instead. Modes include MyCareer, Winter Classic, 3-on-...
