    According to Pocketgamer the remake of WWE WrestleFest for iOS (see the earlier article for more details) will release on Tuesday the 21st. That is the date THQ has been teasing in recent images they've posted on their 'WWE Games' social network pages.     In posting the above image on their WWE Games Facebook page yesterday THQ effectively teased the upcoming announcement of a new WWE branded game which is expected to arrive on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad within the next few months.   • Patch Details for WWE 12

    WWE 12 released back in November with a number of issues - the most publicized of which was the completely unreliable online servers. Today THQ announced details on a patch that will release next Monday on both the Xbox 360 and PS3. In addition free DLC is being given away as an apology for all the problems in the form of a retro masked Kane which will be available for download on Tuesday.     As a company THQ has been struggling to stay afloat for some time now. The stock is currently trading at all-time lows (66 cents a share) and bankruptcy has been a logical conclusion should another company not step up and buy them in the near future.     The segment of arcade-style sports offerings has largely been dying out over the course of this console generation. There has been a resurrection as of late, with EA Sports bringing back NBA Jam and NFL Blitz in particular, but have done so by shifting them to to digital-downloads at discount prices.     With a history of poor online performance, which came courtesy of the decision to allow GameSpy to host, THQ made the decision to transition to their own servers for WWE 12 and the upcoming UFC Undisputed 3. The results so far have been beyond troubling - those who have WWE 12 have grown increasingly frustrated while anyone looking forward to UFC 3 now has to be much more worried about the situation that will be faced come release in February.   • Laying Out the DLC for WWE 12

    With WWE 12 releasing tomorrow the entire roster has been announced along with all of the planned downloadable content. Returning from last year is the 'Fan Axxess' program which allows for paying a lump sum that incorporates all the coming DLC along with some savings. Each individual item goes for 80 MS points/99 cents or it all can be bought as part of the package for 960 MS points/$11.99. While THQ is advertising it to offer "over 25% total savings" that doesn't really add up as there are...
