WWE 12 is set to release on Tuesday and there are a number of deals and different pre-order incentives around to decide from. For today Amazon has made their option more appealing by offering 22% off (making it $47) while continuing to provide a $10 promotional credit for use on a future purchase. Find the Xbox 360 version here and the PS3 version here. The downside still to the Amazon option is that there is no release day delivery option. With one day shipping it would arrive on 11/28, ...

WWE 12 releases next week and with various pre-order deals it makes sense to look around and consider the options if one plans to buy the game. Because it hits stores in such close proximity to Black Friday it is unlikely to see any immediate deals on that date - though retailers have been showing a willingness to drop prices just days after they release now.  (more…)...

THQ announced today that The Rock is being offered as a preorder incentive for WWE 12. This offer appears to be across all retailers including Gamestop and Amazon (360, PS3). Currently Gamestop is also offering exclusive attire for The Miz but hopefully Amazon comes through with a promotional credit as they have with other upcoming titles which would easily trump that. WWE 12 is said to deliver new animation and submission systems, highlight reels and sharing of created wrestlers, enhanc...

It was just yesterday that the reboot of the WWE series was announced and already some gameplay footage has made its way out. More akin to a highlight reel featuring cover athlete Randy Orton rather than uninterrupted gameplay there is reason to be encouraged by the footage largely due to the possible influence from the well received WWE All-Stars - quickening the pace while adding more drama and excitement to the presentation. Despite that though veterans of the series may find it all too f...

THQ today revealed a revamp to their long-running WWE franchise by first announcing a new name and following it up with the initial features and screenshots. No longer will the series go by the "Smackdown vs Raw" title instead it will go with the more traditional sounding WWE '12. Long overdue for a reboot the new branding is intended to represent significant advancement being made after having taken considerable criticism for a lack thereof this generation. Randy Orton has received the h...

Those who pre-ordered from GameStop will now be able to use the provided code to download the "Million Dollar Pack" which includes Ted ...
  • WWE All-Stars DLC Delayed for 360

    Posted April 19th, 2011 at 7:35 pm 9 Comments »
There have been a number of missteps by THQ in regards to the handling of downloadable content for WWE All-Stars. The latest is a delay in the release of the first DLC due to "technical issues" for the Xbox 360 after the PS3 received it all early last week. It is now expected out no earlier than next week for the 360 and there are no guarantees it will even be out then. As a result the pre-order bonus of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Ted DiBiase Jr. will remain unavailable to be c...
