The Latest on MLB 2K11

Here are some updates on MLB 2K11 since breaking the news on the feature list during the week. It’ll be interesting to see whether the game, which has put a focus on improving defensive play in lieu of significant new features, will be able to draw any of the large number of consumers who’ve been turned away by previous efforts this generation. The $1 million contest is obviously meant to be that attraction as simply saying the game is cleaned up and potentially a solid effort won’t be enough in that regard.

Check out the screenshot gallery for five new images. Over at Kotaku Owen Good talks about the stadium specific camera angles that were born out of his article from last year. That should make for a  neat authentic adjustment, and it sounds as though MLB 11: The Show will have the same stadium specific angles as well so a win-win for everyone.
