Black Friday 2011 Deals

Here are summaries of Black Friday sales that relate to sports games along with other games or systems that may be of interest. It’s probably not worthwhile to go out and fight the crowds just for a particular video game (though maybe for consoles) but if you happen to be at one of the stores in question it could be a consideration – or of course the option is there to hunt for deals on sites like Amazon and avoid the crowds altogether.
This year Amazon holds strong with appealing widespread sales and in particular the ‘Lightning Deals’ which will be going up often on Friday. Otherwise Walmart has the lowest prices across the board and is matched by Best Buy in selection. Meijer emerges as a good option online (though I have no experience ordering from them) and as expected Gamestop is the worst one with not a single deal outdoing the competitors.
ALERT: Lightning Deals on Amazon coming up fast and furious today may only last a matter of minutes and yesterday most were going within one or two.
