    EA Sports has followed up on the announcement of Coach Skills for Dynasty mode in NCAA Football 14 with details on all the different paths that can be taken and the individual skills to be earned. Head coaches have two different skill trees (Game Management and Recruiting) while coordinators just affect the output on the field. Each skill can be upgraded to "Level 3" but EA is only mapping out what the first level provides prior to release.  (more…)...

    Yesterday EA Sports revealed the two central changes coming to Dynasty mode in NCAA Football 14 with a streamlined recruiting process and new "Coach Skills".     EA Sports today released a trailer outlining the changes and improvements coming to Dynasty mode in NCAA Football 14. The mode will feature "Power Recruiting" which streamlines the process by replacing phone calls with a point distribution system and "Coach Skills" which can be used for advantages in recruiting and maximizing player performance.     Back in 2011 - when there were several individual former athletes challenging the NCAA, CLC, and EA as opposed to the consolidated and potentially monumental class action one the trio faces now - Ryan Hart had his own attempt at litigation shot down. The case had been filed in 2009 with Hart claiming his appearance in the NCAA Football series when he was a QB at Rutgers from 2004-2005 should have resulted in compensation.  (more…)...

    EA Sports today revealed just how Ultimate Team will be implemented in NCAA Football 14. An agreement with the NFLPA will feed in over 1500 current NFL players who will represent the college version of themselves. EA is also working to bring in some retired players as well though they would have to be negotiated with individually.
