    Sony Pictures has made an announcement via Twitter that Andrew Garfield has been cast as Peter Parker in the Spider-Man reboot. The list of rumored candidates from the start included Garfield along with Logan Lerman, Josh Hutchinson, Anton Yelchin, and Jamie Bell.
