    Fans of Sony's Uncharted video game series were thrilled to learn in late May that director David O. Russell was leaving his position writing and directing the film adaptation.     After months of criticism for his vision of adapting the Uncharted video game to the big screen acclaimed director David O. Russell has left the project.     The campaigning across the internet for Nathan Fillion unfortunately amounted to nothing. Mark Wahlberg has confirmed he is set to play the role of Nathan Drake in the upcoming video game adaptation Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.     Sony/Columbia has announced that the video game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is being adapted into a feature film. David O. Russell (Three Kings, The Fighter) has signed on to write and direct.
