    Games that have been updated by developers to take advantage of the new Xbox One X can display in native 4K with HDR on capable TVs. They may also have more consistently high framerates and improved textures, and all games will see improved load times. What does that really mean though for the current crop of sports games?     While the main selling point of the Xbox One X is the ability to showcase games in native 4K and HDR there are several other benefits that will be seen by playing games on the new more powerful system.     When MLB The Show 18 releases in March the cover of the game will feature a player setting a few firsts for the series. Aaron Judge becomes the first New York Yankees player to appear on the cover. It's also the first time that the cover athlete is coming off a rookie season.   • EA Sports UFC 3 beta begins late this month

    Announced alongside the cover and feature reveals for EA Sports UFC 3 was that a public beta will also be held for the game. The beta period will run from Monday, November 27 through Friday, December 1 - but it's possible if not likely that it'll get extended through the weekend.     With the Xbox One X coming out next week the latest patch for Madden NFL 18 delivers the promised enhancements that will be taken advantage of by the new hardware including true 4K, HDR, and increased character detail.
