NBA 2K19 began receiving the Nike City Edition jerseys a month ago and now, with all included, the alternate courts that accompany their use beginning to make their way into the game. The City courts appear when those particular jerseys are chosen for a home game. These courts are found after completing an in-game update rather than attached to a patch. Like the jerseys they won't show up in previously created MyGM or MyLeague saves. As of publishing time the teams with City courts in ...

2K Sports earlier today pushed out another patch for NBA 2K19 on all platforms. This amounts to the game's third post-release update of substance, with the last one delivering gameplay adjustments and the new shot clock rule and the first having addressed critical issues following release. This patch leans more towards the side of making fixes rather than improvements or additions.  (more…)...

When Nike took over as the official supplier of NBA jerseys and apparel last year they introduced four different sets of uniforms that can be worn at any time. There are the Association (white), Icon (color), Statement and City editions. The City jerseys can change on an annual basis, and ten teams have already officially revealed their new designs for this current season. Those teams have now also received the new uniforms through an update in NBA 2K19. Some of the favorites from the gro...

The second post-release patch of substance for NBA 2K19 went live today. While the previous one was primarily just to make critical fixes, this update reduces the success rate for steals (widely seen as problematic since release), implements the new shot clock reset rule for this season, updates of jumbotrons for two teams, and provides a number of other improvements in addition to more fixes across the various modes in the game.  (more…)...

Already having been (temporarily) found at a massive discount, NBA Live 19 can now also offer a series of improvements to the game that have some real substance behind them. While they won't help Live 19 become more of an NBA game, the update does fill in some of the gaps otherwise with the addition of player editing for Franchise Mode, the ability to practice on your created court with your created player, new signature animations for a number of players, and considerable tuning having been...

Last year NBA Live 18 was sold for $40 pre-release, jumped back up to the contractually obligated $60 on release day, and then three weeks later was dropped down to $30 by various retailers. With NBA Live 19 there was a similar pre-order offer and now, again three weeks after release, the opportunity to get the game on sale but for even cheaper than that. Currently a digital copy on PlayStation 4 has seen the price has dropped to $30, but for PlayStation Plus subscribers an additional 20%...
