With UFC 2010 Undisputed in hand I have gone through and timed different loading areas when running off the disc compared to running off the hard drive on the 360. Installing to the hard drive not only has proven to cut down on load times, in some cases significantly, but it also reduces stress to the system and the noise it produces. UFC 2010 has some lengthy load times in a bunch of areas and also stutters some throughout navigation. Installing to the hard drive brought noticeable i...

With 2010 FIFA World Cup in hand I have gone through and timed different loading areas when running off the disc compared to running off the hard drive on the 360. Installing to the hard drive not only has proven to cut down on load times, in some cases significantly, but it also reduces stress to the system and the noise it produces. World Cup has some lengthy load times, and surprisingly the hard drive install didn't offer much improvement in loading to the main menu or into a match. Ho...

Installing to the hard drive not only has proven to cut down on load times, in some cases significantly, but it also reduces stress to the system and the noise it produces. For FIFA 10 the actual install process took 10:16 and the game comes in at 6.2 GB. That is the longest timed install but not the largest since the capability to install be...

With NBA Live 10 in hand I have gone through and timed different loading areas when running off the disc compared to running off the hard drive on the 360. Installing to the hard drive not only has proven to cut down on load times, in some cases significantly, but it also reduces stress to the system and the noise it produces. Interestingly in the case of NBA Live 10 there is only marginal improvement in the initial boot up to the main menu. In other areas there is more time saved but in ...

Now part of the routine with any new game, I've gone through and timed different loading areas when running off the disc vs the hard drive on the 360. Installing to the hard drive not only has proven to cut down on load times but it also reduces stress to the system and the noise it produces. NCAA Football 10 turned out to show the most improvement of any game so far but that is also a series that has been plagued by slow loading. Madden 10 hasn't been nearly as bad with load times but lets ...

Continuing the series of 360 hard drive performance evaluations this time brings about NCAA Football 10. I've gone through and compared several aspects of the game based on loading times. The NCAA Football series has been especially plagued by long loading times, laggy menus, and tedious menu navigation so the hope would be this could cut down on some of that. As always the other benefits of installing to the hard drive such quieter running and less stress on the 360 remain. (more&hellip...
