The development trend for mobile devices has shifted away from traditional gameplay to "card" collection or battle style games, many of which are being offered as free-to-play, and more simple "tap" style games.     The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with Best New Feature. Development focus has shifted in recent years from providing innovative features to creating content for Ultimate Team modes along more avenues to generate digital revenue.   • End of Year Community Awards: Best Post-Release Support of 2014

    The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with Best Post-Release Support. This is a new category for the Community Awards. In the past post-release support has been factored into rankings but has never been singled out for recognition. There were some strong efforts from developers to not just fix issues but improve and provide new content this year. The three earning nominations are The Golf Club, EA Sports UFC, and Madden NFL 15.     The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with Most Disappointing Sports Game. It's the only recognition from the awards that no game would want but several candidates can't avoid. Previous "winners" - or losers I suppose - have been NBA 2K14, NCAA Football 13, NCAA Football 12, and Madden NFL 11. This year three titles really stand out from the crowd unfortunately.     The voting for various categories in the Pastapadre Community Awards continues with Best Online Play opening up today. This is a category that has understandably been dominated by EA Sports games and once again the company will have a winner out of it.
