Not only does NCAA Basketball 10 have the CBS presentation as shown in the recent video, but it will use the ESPN presentation as well. Depending on the day a game is played or the tournament being played in you'll get the respective full presentation of either ESPN or CBS. We have full ESPN broadcast integration for the first time, says Dougan. It looks exactly like you see on television. All of the intros, fly-ins, movies, graphics, announcers [Dick Vitale, Brad Nessler, Erin Andrews] …...

In a video released today it has been revealed that NCAA Basketball 10 will integrate the presentation of CBS telecasts. The commentators will be the team of Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery. NCAA Basketball was in dire need of a refreshed experience and a way to differentiate itself from the feel of the the professional basketball games. This definitely appears to be a big step towards doing just that. Continue on to view the new video and leave your thoughts in the comments! (more...)...
  • Release Day Problems for NBA 2K10

    Posted October 6th, 2009 at 4:38 pm
The official forums for NBA 2K10 are currently in an uproar over issues being seen with NBA 2K10. Primarily the focus is on the framerate dropping in games and in My Player mode, along with poor online play performance or the inability to play online at all. The framerate and online issues should not come as a surprise to 2K or consumers. Framerate slowdown has been pointed out in previews, reviews, my impressions, and user impressions across the web. Even 2K9 had trouble with keeping a c...

    Posted October 6th, 2009 at 2:38 pm
NBA Live 10's lead gameplay designer Mike Wang has mentioned plans for the first patch on Twitter. The patch is slated to release the first week of November. In order to meet that timetable it will probably be submitted for certification by the end of next week. Rather than put the patch out right away EA has decided to hold back a bit to incorporate more consumer feedback. So, as I did with my impressions, there is the opportunity to express your thoughts on issues and possibly see them ...

    Posted October 5th, 2009 at 1:44 pm
EA Sports has released a trailer for NCAA Basketball 10 offering the opportunity for the first look at the game of which very little is known at the moment. We are aware though of what is to be the top 25 rated teams and the top 15 toughest places to play in the game. From the trailer it is learned that Gus Johnson will be associated with the game, however in what capacity is uncertain. Apparently there will be a good deal of info and videos for NCAA Basketball 10 arriving this week. The ...

The NBA Live series comes into this year with increased expectations after primarily concentrating efforts on improving the gameplay experience rather than adding in new modes. While EA has built out a good feature set the last few years, the primary focus of gameplay was necessary and appears to have paid off if gamer response and early reviews are to be believed. Continue on for my observations from playing NBA Live 10 over the last few days. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comm...

After posting the full game video of NBA Live 10 on Friday it made sense to next grab some variety. So here are three HD videos showing off different areas of the game. Included are portions of gameplay from a FIBA tournament with the USA vs Spain, a Dynasty mode game with the Warriors @ Hornets, and playoff games with the Magic @ Raptors and Raptors @ Hawks. One of my favorite things, if not my absolute favorite about Live 10 is the atmosphere and arena experience and that comes through no ...

Adidas Live Run enters NBA Live 10 as an evolution of the Online Team Play that has been so successful the last two years. 10 people connect into a single online game with each controlling their own player. With Live Run instead of  OTP taking place in a standard game each person gets to select their position and then player of choice in a game of 21. Live Run has EA Sports World integration which gives each squad their own page. Here is the page for the Pastapadre squad. The site shows ...
